Scope and responsibility

Global Logistic Professionals (GLP)
47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France
SIRET: 106 643 042 00018

This policy concerns GLP’s own business correspondence and client relationships under the GDPR and French data protection law. Where we handle personal data on a client’s instructions, the engagement and any required data processing agreement define the parties’ responsibilities. Recruitment is covered by our Candidate Privacy Notice.

Information and purposes

We may receive names, professional contact details, company information, correspondence and documents relevant to an enquiry or engagement. Information normally comes from you or an authorised business contact.

We use this information to respond to requests, assess and deliver agreed services, administer contracts and payments, meet legal obligations and handle disputes. The applicable basis may be requested pre-contract steps, contract performance, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest in managing business relationships. Consent is used where required.

Providing information needed to assess or perform a service is necessary for that purpose. Without it, we may be unable to respond fully or proceed with the engagement. Do not send unnecessary sensitive data.

Sharing and international access

Relevant information may be shared with authorised GLP staff, service providers, professional advisers and authorities where required. For financing assistance, relevant application information may be provided to lenders in connection with the agreed mandate. A lender’s own privacy notice applies to its independent assessment.

Any service requiring additional recipients or international transfers will be addressed in the relevant engagement information. Transfers outside the EEA require an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism and any necessary additional safeguards.

Retention and protection

Business enquiries are retained for the time needed to answer and follow up on the request. Client records are retained for the engagement and applicable legal recordkeeping or claims periods. Information kept solely for legal purposes is separated from routine operational use and deleted when no longer required.

The specific retention period depends on the record and purpose. You may request information about the period applicable to your records using the contact details below. Access should be limited to people who need the information for their work.

Website and AI

The website has no active chatbot, online application form or automated credit or recruitment decision system. It does not add optional analytics or advertising scripts. See Cookie Settings for browser-storage information.

Any AI implementation for a client is governed by its agreed scope, appropriate oversight and relevant privacy information.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. French law also provides for instructions concerning personal data after death.

Requests are normally answered within one month. A further two months may be needed for complex or numerous requests; we will explain any extension within the first month. You may complain to the CNIL or another competent European supervisory authority.
